Dancing the Limbata. Oscoda County, 1998. 18 x 12 in, magic marker, acrylic and India ink on water color paper. Brown trout through caution to the wind, and  recklessly rise to hex spinners in June. The hex is also sometimes called the Michigan Mayfly, or a Fishfly. When this hatch is on, which lasts about two weeks, all species of fish will rise to the flies in their dun and spinner states.
