Spilling minimal blood of vaunted foes
While we watch television cheese steak
The mandatory lookitem’s lesser
Services, we rank upstart outsiders
Consigned to watch while the big boys play,
Our day to come on the real fields of war
When some greenie brown-bar begs for close air.
Who will answer? Not the football foes
But we blue minorities swooping down
From heaven like gods called by prayer.
