My Sturgeon. Baraga County, 2006. 30 x 40 in, acrylic on canvas. The Sturgeon River, south of Alberta, runs through some interesting and scenic country. I gave the painting this title because this is the prism I see rivers through, the reds giving drama to the scenery, which is the definition of wild and isolated.
