Help Conservation Officers Help Us

If you witness poaching or any other kind of outdoor violation, please call the toll-free Report-All-Poaching line (RAP) in Lansing. The number is 1-800-292-7800. The operators are skilled at taking information, and you can remain anonymous if you wish. To help get conservation officers to the scene, provide the following information in as much detail as you can: what happened, did you see it happen, where did it happen, when did it happen, descriptions of people involved (nos of males/females/approx sizes, what they were wearing), vehicle license numbers or descriptions of snowmobiles, four wheelers, boats etc. The more details you have the better the chance officers have of making a case. The sooner you call the better. When in doubt, call RAP and help us preserve our natural Michigan. Violations can include: overlimit fish and game, hunting or fishing or trapping without licenses, hunter-fisher harassment, stealing timber from public land, setting illegal fires, stealing from camps, driving vehicles where they are banned, etc.
